The Graduation/Pre-K Program

Here's Mia with prayer hands entering OLL's church for her Pre-K Program and last day of school. Brady is in front of her and Chandler is behind her.

The 3 Pre-K classes did a combined program in the church. They each sang songs as a class: Our Father, God Be In My Head, Secret to Bad Feelings, This Little Light of Mine and Kindergarten Here We Come.
Here's Mia getting her recognition packet with her "passing" certificate.

The Amazing Race

Ryan won $$$'s from Cross Gates Athletic Club for winning The Amazing Race. If it weren't for Kristin wanting to join the game and me signing him up, he wouldn't have won. So, we said that if we won, we'd all go to dinner, without kids. The race went on for 6 weeeks. Every time you went to the club to exercise, you filled out a block on your race sheet. For every block that you signed, you won a chance to win $$$'s. At the finale, they drew 2 people from the "blue team" and 2 from the "black team". Ryan was on the black team and I screamed SO loud when they picked his name. So, Kevin, Kristin, Ryan and I went to dinner at Young's (famous steak house) in Slidell.

Here's Kaitlin, Ms. Marlene (aka Daytime Momma) and Mia at Kaitlin's house ready to babysit the girls and Kameron for us. Marlene was Kaitlin and Mia's infant room teacher when they were at Primary Colors and was Kameron's too. I would tease Marlene that she was Mia's daytime momma....all the babies LOVE Marlene....she spoils them!

Relaxing at the Pool

We all decided to take a Sunday off from Body Pump and Body Motion and head to the pool. Here's the Callahan and Rodriguez families enjoying the pool....

My new Chauffer

After a Saturday Les Mills Combat class, the Callahan and Rodriguez families walked out together and were parked next to one another. Kameron decided to climb into our car and drive.

Here he is making sure the coast is clear to back out...... Oh well, we didn't get very far. Kristin opened the door so he could climb out our car and climb right into his car seat. Maybe in about 14 years we can try again!

Gymnastics Exhibition

Mia had her 2nd year gymnastics exhibition on a Friday night. This is when all the kids get to show us what they learned. You can watch them year round through the windows but Kristin and I usually catch up on girl talk the entire time Mia and Kaitlin are in class. Before the exhibition even started, Mia's on the bar.
Here's the 2 gymnasts with their trophies.
Ms. Kim has been their coach since they started.
Ms. Celeste, co-teacher, and Kaitlin and Mia and Ms. Kim sitting on the long trampoline that goes to the pit.
Here's the star of the show!

After, we went out to eat at "The Honky Tonk" as Mia calls it (Texas Road House).

The Life of Sandy

Sandy has been enjoying her life lately. She's been spending a lot of time in OUR bed, not hers. When we leave her inside when we run an errand, she decides to make herself at home. She doesn't even get up when we come home. We've found her many time crashed out. She's also been getting lots of rides in the car when we go to the Kenner house to work.

Don King

This is what Ryan looks like after taking Les Mills Combat class at Cross Gates! Hair straight up like his old flat top.

OLL Food & Music Fest

We had a fun Saturday at Mia's schools fair. Here she is with her dad going to play some games. The first game she played was the "sweet wheel" where you had to pick a number and then spin the wheel. If the wheel landed on your number, you got to pick a sweet or cake. The first time Mia did this she won! She also won at the "cake walk".
Here she is running on the stage before her class was to perform with Daniel.
Mia, Carlee and Myles waiting for Ms. Parris to put their hats on for the performance.
They sang 2 songs for the performance.
Mia asked her grandma to tie her shoe lace and when she bent down, Mia cracked a confetti egg on her head.
Mia loved the rock wall. Here is she ready to go. Her friend Carlee is waiting her turn.

Like Grandma, like Grandaughter. Check out the stance.
