Michelle's 5th Birthday Party

Today we went to Michelle's party. She had a princess bounce house and they played games. Here's Mia bouncing away.

Boo at the Zoo

Saturday night we went with the Callahan's (a.k.a. the "K" family) to Boo at the Zoo. Here's Mia as an LSU Cheerleader and Kaitlin as Tinkerbell. Kameron went as a Pumpkin. Here's Kevin, Kameron, Mia and Kaitlin

This was probably the biggest blow up space walk I've ever seen. When you get in it has an obstacle course around sharks, you have to crawl under a net and then go through a maze of in and out posts to get to the steps that you climb to get to the slide and then slide out. It's pretty steep!

Kameron was amazed by the pumpkins on display at the stage area. They had musicians play all night on the stage and he wanted to dance!
Tattoo's.....Boo at the Zoo with a bat. They both got a tattoo. You can see the black and white bracelets...they made these too. They are pipe cleaners with skull beads.

Mia as Hannah Montana

Mia won a $20 gift card to Target for being the top seller of the Reader's Digest fund raiser in her class....Thanks to everyone who purchased!!! So, we went to Target on Saturday and she decided to buy a Hannah Montana microphone and wig. Here she is as a blonde.....

Elmo Makes Music

Friday night we went with the Callahan's to see Elmo Makes Music at the Arena. We had 1st row tickets and had a great view of the show. Here's Mia pre-show with the stage and back drop. Mia and Kaitlin waiting for Elmo and his Sesame Street friends to come out.

Red Bluff Farm - Pumpkin Patch

After Hannah's party Mia and I went to Folsom to the Red Bluff Farm. We were just in time for the farmer to educate everyone on how to milk a cow and demonstrate milking a cow. After, the kids got to go over to the calves and bottle feed them. Here they are ready for their bottles.

The baby pigs ran to catch up with their mom but when they got to this mud puddle, they didn't want to cross over. They looked like little dogs running down the field with their ears flapping. They were pretty quick.

The horses that pulled the wagon. Mia, Samantha and I rode on the horse drawn wagon. These horses are in the same breed as the Budweiser Horses. Cool!!

Hannah's 5th Birthday Party - Chuck E. Cheese

On Saturday we went to Hannah's party at Chuck E. Cheese. Mia was surprised at the new rides they had....we haven't been in a while.

Here she is riding "scoop" with Bob the Builder and Pritchard the cat. Bob the Builder is one of the shows she watches. She rode the horse about 10 times. It was a racing game and you had to control the game by the reigns.

Mia's Last Swim Meet - Pizza Meet

This past Tuesday (10/16) was Mia's last swim meet as a "Stingray" "Divingray". She improved her time which is what Coach CeCe wanted to see happen. She also moved from lane 1 to lane 3 which is where the faster swimmers take their mark.

Mia and Nina finished their strokes and decided to put on a dancing show. Mia met Nina when she was at Gymrompers and then again at swim lessons.

Vanessa's 5th Gymnastics Birthday

Sorry Vanessa...we had to miss your party today. We had two parties that overlapped times so we had to miss one. Mia was sad because she LOVES going to birthday parties and having fun. She especially likes gymnastics because she goes every Monday year round for class and is in her second year. She wanted to go to the bowling party because she doesn't get to bowl often.

Savannah's 5th Birthday Bowling Party

Ready to Bowl!! Here's Mia getting her ball ready and the birthday girl Savannah. Ready to Roll! She did well considering she only had 3 pins left to knock down on this bowl.
