Dance preview....Jungle Book
Mia got her first costume for the recital and as soon as we got home, she put it on. The theme for the recital is "movies". This is her tap costume and she'll be dancing to a song from The Jungle Book.
Mardi Gras Marathon
Renee, Tal, Mary Bratton, Beau and Paw Paw came to New Orleans so Renee and Tal could run the Mardi Gras Marathon.
It was also Mary Bratton's birthday celebration. Here she is at Drago's. Everyone is singing "Happy Birthday".

On the outside of the picture booth you can watch whoever is inside taking pictures. So, I took a picture of them taking a picture.

Here comes Tal. He ran the full marathon....26 miles!
ELVIS has entered the race....
Renee and Jenny. They ran the 1/2 marathon and had about a mile left after they past us.
MB and Mia hiding from Beau. We made a fort by draping the comforter over the two beds and used the large pillows to block the front. Beau had to find them.
Beau loved getting in and out of Mia's stroller. Then, he decided to just relax.
OOPS, I forgot to rotate this one before uploading. Mia and MB taking a ride on the luggage cart.

Academy
We went to Academy to shop and ran into Louise, Carroll and Michelle. Here's the girls playing around with the biggest mardi gras beads they could find.

Jazzy Bear
Sarah had a pj party at Jazzy Bear. Mia is still not a fan of Jazzy. Here she is after getting her nails done, make up and glittered from her head to her toes! It's been over a month since the party and she still has glitter in her hair!!
