My new Chauffer

After a Saturday Les Mills Combat class, the Callahan and Rodriguez families walked out together and were parked next to one another. Kameron decided to climb into our car and drive.

Here he is making sure the coast is clear to back out...... Oh well, we didn't get very far. Kristin opened the door so he could climb out our car and climb right into his car seat. Maybe in about 14 years we can try again!

Gymnastics Exhibition

Mia had her 2nd year gymnastics exhibition on a Friday night. This is when all the kids get to show us what they learned. You can watch them year round through the windows but Kristin and I usually catch up on girl talk the entire time Mia and Kaitlin are in class. Before the exhibition even started, Mia's on the bar.
Here's the 2 gymnasts with their trophies.
Ms. Kim has been their coach since they started.
Ms. Celeste, co-teacher, and Kaitlin and Mia and Ms. Kim sitting on the long trampoline that goes to the pit.
Here's the star of the show!

After, we went out to eat at "The Honky Tonk" as Mia calls it (Texas Road House).

The Life of Sandy

Sandy has been enjoying her life lately. She's been spending a lot of time in OUR bed, not hers. When we leave her inside when we run an errand, she decides to make herself at home. She doesn't even get up when we come home. We've found her many time crashed out. She's also been getting lots of rides in the car when we go to the Kenner house to work.

Don King

This is what Ryan looks like after taking Les Mills Combat class at Cross Gates! Hair straight up like his old flat top.

OLL Food & Music Fest

We had a fun Saturday at Mia's schools fair. Here she is with her dad going to play some games. The first game she played was the "sweet wheel" where you had to pick a number and then spin the wheel. If the wheel landed on your number, you got to pick a sweet or cake. The first time Mia did this she won! She also won at the "cake walk".
Here she is running on the stage before her class was to perform with Daniel.
Mia, Carlee and Myles waiting for Ms. Parris to put their hats on for the performance.
They sang 2 songs for the performance.
Mia asked her grandma to tie her shoe lace and when she bent down, Mia cracked a confetti egg on her head.
Mia loved the rock wall. Here is she ready to go. Her friend Carlee is waiting her turn.

Like Grandma, like Grandaughter. Check out the stance.

Mia's first boat ride

We took the new Skeeter out for our first boat ride together. Mia had a blast! She thought her sunglasses were going to fall off when we were riding fast, so she held on to them. Then, she decided she wanted to drive, and walk from behind the console to the front while we were riding, and of course, she had to have a sandwich. We wanted to eat at Phil's Marina & Grill where you can get to it by car or boat but by the time we would have eaten it would have been too dark and the gnats would have attacked so, we're going to try to do it again soon.

Easter

The easter bunny left an egg hunt in the house. It started in Mia's room and ended up in the breakfast room where Mia left her basket. Right out of bed....wild hair and all! This was her face when she saw her basket.
Not sure what's with the half faced smile.
This was one of the easter baskets she got from her aunts, uncles and cousins.
Egg Hunt again.....she's loves to hunt eggs.
Mia and Jacob hunting eggs.
Getting ready to play the Wii

Pa bowling.....Mia's checking out the game.
The annual Easter Water Ballon Toss......
Jacob and Mia were tossing water balloons.
You can see the water balloon in mid air....it's looks like a yellow football.
