Mia's Kindergarten Concert
Mia's Kindergarten Concert was May 20th. Here we are with our Kindergartener.....in about two hours, our First Grader!
Mi and Olivia in the MBC.

Every Kindergartener participated in the concert. SMA has 3 Kindergarten classes and 59 students "graduated".

They said prayers, sang songs and put on skits. The concert line up was: Hello Song, Prayer, VIP, Friends, Scat Like That, Piggy Bank, ABC Rock, Opposites, The Three Little Pigs, The Three Bears, Humpty Dumpty, If I Were a Butterfly, Awesome God, Our God is So Great, Golden Rule, This Land is My Land, God Bless America and Goodbye Song.
City Park
Mia's classmate, Colin, had his birthday party at City Park. The first ride that Mia saw was the Ladybug roller coaster and said "Oh Boy, look at that". She was SO excited. Here's Mia and Olivia on the "mardi gras" ride as they called it. (Tilt a whirl)
Coming down from the high slide...I think half the class did this at least 50 times. They'd go up, come down and back around again.

Gym Night
Mia takes gym (tumbling) at dancing. They had a special performance to show everyone what they learned. Each tumbler received a certificate after their performance.
Mia and Kaitlin started at opposite ends of the mat and "crab" walked their ways to each other.

The Sombrero Cup - Gymnastics Meet
This was Mia's first year competing at a gymnastics meet. She placed 1st on the uneven bars and 4th overall. She did VERY well for her first meet. All participants came home with 4 ribbons for each event: vault, balance beam, uneven bars and floor and a medal. For those who placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in each event, received a larger medal for their efforts. All of the meet participants walked out from the stage. Mia was a Flamenco Dancer.
