YEAH! Mia likes Santa this year....

It only took 5 years for her to like the man in the red suit. We were at the Foley outlets on Black Friday and Santa arrived on the fire truck. She decided that she wanted to go see him....and boy did she.....she was the only one in line so she talked to him, then took a few pictures with him, then talked to him some more and then went back and talked some more and told him "bye". On our way back to New Orleans, we stopped at the Bass Pro Shop in Alabama and they had FREE pictures with Santa. He took all the time the kids wanted with him so she bent his ear some more....

Thanksgiving in Fort Morgan, Alabama

We went to the beach this year for Thanksgiving. It was chilly in the early morning and evening but sunny and warm during the day. Mia played most of the day on Thanksgiving Day in the sand until dinner was ready.

The eye doctor

Here's Mia taking her eye test with Dr. Leonard. This reminded of "It's a Bugs Life" at Disney World with her big black glasses on. She see's a picture in 3-D and has to grab it. Mia loves Dr. Leonard!

Boo at the Zoo

We made our annual trip with the Callahan's "K" family to Boo at the Zoo. This year we had all 3 in the wagon....2 super heros and 1 cheerleader....

Kameron wasn't sure what to make of trick or treating but after he figured out that he got candy in his bag everytime he said "trick or treat" he was off to the next house.

They loved riding the carousel at the zoo. The adults were getting dizzy!

One of the many crafts they could do.....

Mia, hard head, didn't listen when we told her not to go by the boys that were hanging from the lower tree branches.....she went by the boys and one of them let go of the branch (a large oak) and it slammed right in the middle of her forehead. We didnt' see it but she had an instant knot on her head and her glasses were missing. We went over to the first aid tent and got a bag of ice and had her checked out. Here's Kameron giving her a kiss to make her all better.....

The Home Depot - Fire Truck Saturday

We stopped by Home Depot one Saturday to pick up things for the Kenner house and came across a fire truck in the parking lot with tents set up around it. They had "kid depot" as I call it where kids make projects. Here's Mia putting her fire truck together.

Cafe Du Monde

After dinner we decided to stop at Cafe Du Monde for beignets and chocolate milk for dessert. Mia scored a hat from a waiter and of course, got powdered sugar everywhere!

Kaitlin's 6th birthday

The 3 Musketeers back together again for Kaitlin's birthday. Mia, Kaitlin and Michelle have been friends since daycare.

Field Trip - Audubon Insectarium

Ryan's birthday

Celebrating Ryan's birthday in Ponchatoula on the patio....we had great weather! Guess who likes to lick the candles.....
